Kind of a dumb question but do i just go to the hospital and say i want an xray of my arm / hand? Or do i say smth like i think that maybe my hand is broken or sprained so they then take an xray?

I think if you make an inquiry with your primary care physician or something they can help you figure it out without all of that xray and extra cost stuff. But, if you wanted to do a xray all you’d have to do is ask, that is a way to figure it out.

hmm alright thanks but would gh substances theoretically work if my growth plates are closed?

Growth plates are responsible for bone lengthening, and once they solidify (usually in the late teens or early 20s), vertical growth stops permanently. Using HGH would be pretty pointless but ask @webs he has experience (using HGH) in general but dont think his plates are closed.

TITLE ANSWER :
You can’t know for sure without an X-ray of your hand or wrist. That’s the only reliable method.

Age is just a rough guide (usually 16–21 for most guys), but it varies.

No height change for 1–2 years can be a hint, but not proof.

Only imaging gives a real answer.
