info and fixes for your eyes. this guide ignores hair, and skin around your eyes. once i start working on that, i will post it in Skincare & Hair.
TABLE OF CONTENTS:
• eye shapes
• eye color
• sclera
• under eye area
• upper eyelid exposure
• eye area ratios
monolid eyes have no visible upper eyelid crease, with smooth upper lid from lash line to brow, little to no fold when the eye is open, and alot of east asians have these types of eyes. this is more of an eyelid thing, not a shape. i still figured putting it in here since it does change eye shape a bit.

protruding, or prominent eyes mean your eyes sit more forward in the orbital socket, making your eyes look more open and your sclera more visible. theres usually more visible curvature of the eyeball from your side angle, and your eyelids look stretched over the eye. some people also call this bug eyes jfl.

eye laser depigmentation is a laser that shoots melanin in the iris, and your body naturally “washes” away the dead cells after the laser basically kills them, and makes your eyes lighter permanently. yeux clairs is a great and safe place to do it, and they make you take around 30 sessions if your eye color is very dark. it doesnt make you blind since the iris isnt your vision. i dont have an exact measure of money since it depends how dark your eye color is, but its around a couple thousand dollars. you can see reviews of patients here.
what is sclera?
the sclera is the white, tough outer layer of the eye that provides protection and structural support, that protects the inner eye so you dont go blind from some bs.
how do we want our sclera look?
our goal is for our sclera to look super white, the same goal for our teeth. a healthy sclera could be bluish white, which is normal but not what we want. and scleras could be a bunch of different colors, it really depends on what you took too.

whats the reason our sclera could be different colors?
1. things like cannabis or vape products can widen the eyes blood vessels or dry out the ocular surface, which often results in the eyes taking on a reddish appearance which is unideal. i dont think i need to show you a picture, its pretty easy to visualize what someone who is "high" looks like. smoking could change your sclera color to be slightly more red.
2. lack of sleep, which can cause dry eyes, red eyes, and much more, but ill only focus on what will change your sclera color. i think its pretty obvious you should sleep well though, since lack of sleep fucks you up bad. trust me its not worth it.
3. jaundice, which happens when liver cant properly break down and clear bilirubin, a yellow pigment produced when red blood cells are recycled. if the liver is damaged or overwhelmed, bilirubin builds up in the bloodstream and deposits in the skin and sclera, making them have a yellow tint. make sure your liver is healthy. unfortunately since this site is so new i dont have a guide to direct you to keep your kidney healthy, youll have to do the research yourself until a hero comes along.
what to do and what not to do.
1. dont rub your eyes, it can scratch, damage, and put pressure on your sclera, which is bad
2. stay hydrated, adequate hydration improves tear film stability and reduces redness and dryness of your eyes in general.
3. dont look at screens too much, it could cause dryness, irritation, and vascular dilation, making the sclera have a red or yellow tint. do the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
4. get a good diet, nutrient deficiencies affect eye moisture, antioxidant defense, and vessel integrity. make sure to include omega-3, vitamin A, vitamin C in your diet.
solution
eye drops. this is kind of frauding, because they arent permanent, but its the best solution. eye drops may seem simple, but they can be dangerous if not used carefully. a good eye drop to use for important events or special occasions is lumify eye drops, which contain an ingredient called brimonidine tartrate which can whiten your eyes up to 120% more and lasts about 8 hours. something bad though is that they may cause redness the following night.
these eye drops were made for people with red scleras. if lifestyle changes dont help reduce the redness, these drops can be effective. but, be cautious not to overuse them, as long term use can be harmful to your eyes. thats why, its best to reserve them for special occasions.
for daily use and maintaining a healthy sclera, traditional eye drops are preferable for relief. something like systanes eye drops will work best. they dont cause rebound redness (making redness come back) and help keep your eyes looking white throughout the day.

if you have dark circles under your eyes even though you eat a healthy diet, sleep 8 hours a night, have tried sleep supplements to improve your sleep, and stopped smoking weed, nicotine, alcohol or caffeine, it is most likely because the skin under your eyes is thin.
there could also be a bunch of different reasons as to why this is happening aswell, and something very common is if you use something like Latisse, which are meant to improve growth for eyebrow and eyelash hair, but cause redness and hyperpigmentation around the eyes. you should use something else like castor oil.
volufiline
applying volufiline on the area where your dark circles are could fix them in many cases. this is also the only example im writing to keep this guide under 30,000 characters lmfao. this girl did this, and it worked pretty well for her. and this volufiline is what id recommend for you, since you can just mix it with any cream you use and put it on parts of your face you want to puff up. dont put it on parts of your face you dont want it to puff up though, obviously.

usually, fillers only last about 6 months. but, it depends where the filler is injected. according to taban, it can last to 1-2 years! these kind of fillers are about 400 dollars, and im pretty sure you can make 400 dollars in 2 years.
fat graft for UEE
fat grafting to get hooded eyes is possible, and the requirement of fat grafting is being at least above 22% bodyfat.
once the fat grafting is done healing, since alot of grafter fat survives in alot of cases, you are able to normally lose weight without losing the grafted fat.
but, unfortunately some people do not have the anatomy, and some peoples upper orbital shape could prevent them from getting fat grafts for hooded eyes. make sure to ask your doctor questions.
implants for UEE
the other strategy to fix UEE and get hooded eyes, is by getting a supraorbital implant. the implant lasts for a lifetime, unless an infection is triggered. the downside, is that they arent cheap and cost around 3K-9K usd.
