Hello,

So as everyone on this site knows; Clavicular has brought in an immense amount of normies into the looksmaxing/lookism community. Reports say about a 160% weekly user account creation boost, for a decent amount of time (source: tiktok/clearnet news). Now, the question is; how is everyone feeling about this, and how much longer do you think this will keep up?

I have seen almost 75% of my school (a random, small school in a small town, in WI), start talking about looksmaxing, and use "maxing" on random words (making no sense). Yes, I am aware that Clavicular wasn't the only person to bring in looksmaxing to the normal population (Dillon, James Sapphire, Chico, Jordan). It is annoying, and I am sure it pisses everyone else off too. I do notice, I don't see people using terms like; nt, nd, khhl, dnr(d), moid/foid (or any surface level looksmaxing terms).

Atleast they aren't flooding forums like these.

people like bass too ruined alot of forums too, bass made a promo for .gg and the usercount shot up by 10k in a week, havent been on .gg since. every time a forum is advertised by someone big, theres always greys that come in and start posting slop so their name gets colored and they get worthy of calling others grey. clav and bass and dillon are the reason why .org and .gg have little to no useful info anymore, and its mostly just shitposts or stuff talking about things that have been posted 5 times already

truth is that the normies will find something else to cling to in 1-2 months. simialar to looksmaxxing trending in winter 2023, it died after april. clav will eventually fall off, and it will be niche again and come back in 2029.

people at my school use larp and ask me how to bonesmash or ask what their PSL is (they know me as the LM kid)

it is quite annoying but all the normies will forget eventually

*truecel rage*

Just gotta keep gatekeeping to keep the greys out. No other way around it. Also the randomword-maxing thing is funny sometimes I dont see a problem there

It’s kinda funny because whenever they try to use terms from forums they never make sense they will say something like “I need to sciencemax” and they always spell it like “Cell”
