im genuinely so abnormally slow when it comes to running and i need to do more cardio but idk what exactly. Every year at school we have a test and you js have to run like 2,4 km without stopping. You get 10/10 if you keep running continuously and you also get a score out of 20 depending on the speed you ran (the lowest you can get is 2/20). Im not joking when i say this, my first year i only had to run 1.2 km i think and i got 2/30. Also we have a yearly race. Do you know how embarrassing it is to be 95th out of 98? Its horrible. My goal is just to be faster and to be able to run longer.

fruit !

uh which specifically cause im allergic to all drupes and also pear and apples, also how does that even work ive never heard of fruit increasing speed and endurance

Fruit supports stamina mainly through its combination of natural sugars, fiber, and key micronutrients. the sugarslike fructose, glucose, and sucrose provide a steady fuel source for working muscles, and because whole fruit contains fiber, that fuel gets released gradually rather than all at once, helping you sustain effort over a longer period instead of burning out quickly.

Beyond the sugars, the micronutrients in fruit do a lot of the heavy lifting for endurance. Potassium and magnesium (found in bananas, citrus, and berries) help prevent muscle cramps and support efficient muscle contractions. B vitamins help your body convert food into usable fuel during prolonged activity. And vitamin C plays a role in reducing oxidative stress that builds up during exercise meaning your muscles recover faster and fatigue less quickly. Together, that's why fruit has been a go-to for athletes long before supplements existed.

tysm this is very helpful, i will increase the amount of fruit i consume!!
