so my tounge doesn't fully fit in my pallate on one side of my face, and it shows. there's maybe a mm less of zygomatic protrusion, and it's overall less defined. on that side, my tounge doesn't fit in my pallate, and extends a few mm into my back molars.

that’s not a marpe problem. I have the same thing (type 1 occlusion on left type 2 on right) where my teeth don’t line up. My doctor gave me braces and is gonna give me rubber bands for half a year. Rubber bands aren’t bad btw especially if you age fuller lips (because the 0.25mm retraction won’t be noticeable at all).
